I guess a back handed compliment is still a compliment, lol.

Theisman picked the Commanders to win the Super Bowl.

:D

Oh yeah. Here's the Playbook from the day after the Cowboys beat the Eagles in November...

Thanks DC, man, I'm pumped up about how we will be able to attack McNabb.

Theisman wants to talk about integrity when rushing the passer...

Tony Romo is not Kyle Orton.

Next.

Can anyone even understand the point that Sharpe is trying to make about Roy?

He's the MVP because he's not playing well and therefore that allowed Miles Austin to breakthrough which makes the offense play faster? What?

On another note, if you look at their NFC picks at the very end, you see that Sterling picks Dallas for the 2 seed (he picks DAL, NYG and GB as winners).

Interesting how none of them mentioned Anthony Spencer. He's been having a bigger impact as the season went on.

If you dont read into Sharpe's comments then it is easly a "what the heck are you talking about?"

but I see what he is saying

Are only people from NY getting it that he's being a wisenheimer?

I think what he meant by saying Roy is the MVP is that him getting hurt allowed Miles Austin to emerge and give the offense some juice. In other words, Roy getting hurt was a blessing in disguise for the Cowboys.

Great stuff. A lot of times these Playbooks are just glossed over or even make you scratch your head, but it looks like the guys actually put some effort into this one.

Loved the point by Billick about how the inside LBs threatening that A-gap blitz holds the back and makes it easier for Demarcus (or Spencer) to get around the edge. Also good stuff on how Cole blew some line calls last week.

And it's kinda nice hearing about how sound we are on both sides of the ball. Like Sharpe saying, "I like Dallas' defense... They won't blow coverages like Denver did."
