Curious, how do you guys go about this video making process? I'm assuming a tv tuner card is a necessity (or at the least, an off the shelf DVR), but what software do you use? I've mucked around with Adobe Premiere and I know how to rip DVDs, but that's about it.

I use a DVD Recorder and rip the DVD to my computer. Then use Sony Vegas for editting..... plus a few other programs for this particular video.

excellent timing and great use of special effects and speed changes...

What version of vegas were you using? I've got vegas video 4.0 but I don't think it could do some of the things you did...or maybe I just don't know how to do it...

I am using Sony Vegas 7.0d. I'm really not sure of what all is different from version 4.0 because I only started using Vegas at 6.0.
If you ever have any questions about it... let me know, I'll try to answer as best I can and if I don't know then I'll try to find the answer for ya.
