For those that could'nt see it

Romo INT

Thanks a million for posting these clips... appreciated.

You know what... I LOVED THAT PLAY... or I loved the "idea" of that play.
(so you think you got us backed up against the wall)

Backed up in the endzone and you guy for the dagger in the heart....

PEOPLE! This is what we have been waiting for.... wait until they get that play working...

If that were Aikman from back in the day and it didnt work just like yesterday.... we would all be saying.... Whoah.... I see what they were trying to do... and we would be pumped!!

just my thoughts

Your thoughts are right on point. The pic isn't the issue, the fact that JC made the call and TO was wide open is bigger to me. We're gonna have that all year long. TO and Witten are gonna have a big year..

Do you have the video of the Romo pass that was so off target that the announcers claimed he was "throwing it away"?

Gentleman,, it doesn't matter how often we run that play or how open TO is,, if our QB can't get the ball there it is a INT everytime..... Don't sugarcoat it.

Garrett may be showing promise, but I don't think he walks on water yet.;)

That play brings a smile. Yes, it didn't work last night & that's regretable, but you better believe it will be used during the regular season. Other teams who will watch this game now realize it's in our playbook and are on notice. During the season when we in the endzone & TO takes off going real deep, you better believe he'll be taking 2 DBs with him. Now Romo might or might now still go to him but if not it sure leaves a lot of room for a short to medium pass play or a big run.

My only question is whether the INT was caused because Romo lacks the arm strength or because Romo still underestimates TO speed.

Romo hit that several times during camp. He'll hit that throw a lot this year... but he's going to miss some too.

They called that play because they wanted to see it and now is the time to be working on things like that.

It didn't look as if Romo really stepped into that throw or followed through all the way, he seemed to hurry it a bit, probably because he was standing in the endzone and didn't want to hold it too long. If he steps into the throw more it is a TD as he certainly has shown that he has enough arm to throw it that far.

I also am encouraged by the "playing-to-win" mentality that is here instead of Parcells' "playing-not-to-lose".

That was a very similar play to Aikman to Harper in the playoff game against the Packers in 1994. Backed up at our own 6, and throw deep, Troy's pass was perfect and Harper took it 94 yards to the house.

Exactly... the mere fact that we are threatening deep AGAIN is gonna make defense think twice about doing certain things...

gotta send that safety out because we may chuck it... then run the ball up their arse - HAHAHA!

Just imagine... TO, GLENN and Stanback running deep ONE on ONE... oh my!

I'll take an inaccurate Romo interception over a bad decision Bledsoe interception any day.

That being said - he isn't quite as open as was described last night. No excuse, but I expected him to have 10 yards on the guys.
