Why did they ask Joey Thiesmann about Dallas' issues? He is such a moron. Let's just do the opposite of what he said.

Thanks for posting Theebs.

Not enough room for more ego's eh?

Imagine that? They're ego's in the Cowboys locker room.

One less would be good. :)

1. Jerra is the man. People complain and bellyache but I doubt they want to win as much as Jerry does. We're lucky to have that in an owner.

2. I don't think Bradie's comments were anything to worry about. Every fan in the nation is thinking the same thing.

3. As much as I hate to say it, Theismans comments were spot on.

I don't think James wants to see some FA's walk in here and the team finally gets over the hump and then those guys get all of the credit.

And I agree.

These players that are already a big part of what has failed for this team over the last few seasons are now battle hardened.

They are no longer young pups still learning the NFL game.

It's time, and it's been time, that they fight there way out of the situation they put themselvs in and learn how to win when crunch time comes around.

I agree that Bradie doesn't want someone coming in and getting credit. That was the first thing I thought when he said "We don't need any more egos." But why is that a good thing?

Bradie is a good guy, but IMO his attitude is exactly one of the problems with this team. Instead of thinking "Give us any good player who can help us win", or thinking that he could learn a ton from a Hall of Famer like Lewis, he's worried that Lewis would take over "his" leadership role on defense. That's crap. Why would he even worry about that? Forget about who gets "credit" and suppress your own ego, Bradie.

it was "put up or shut up time" last year too
we clearly did not "put up" and certainly have not "shut up"
just saying it or wishing it wont make it so

come december/jan, this team will fold like a cheap tent when hit in the mouth because that is who they are.

it is what it is

No, they aren't. The owner and head coach still have plenty and are still using them right now. Injuries and so on. Excuse-making is an organizational mantra.

It starts at the top.

Amen to that.

Wade is an extreme excuse maker, one of the worst I have ever heard and jerry seemingly can be sold on excuses as easily as he can sell them himself.

Its one of the main flaws here.

Jerry Jones is a notorious optimist who will overrate the talent because he's the man who acquired it. All GMs do it. But that's the danger with having the owner and GM being the same person. Add Phillips to that, it explains why we have players who do the same thing. They bought into the message.

I fully expected anger out of Jones. I wanted him to be as angry as the fanbase. His woodshed must have lots of candy in it.

Or his woodshed involved straightening out players who werent straight with an individual on this team and making them be ok with that for 09, if you catch my drift.

Plan for the short term and put key people in place, like the head coach for the short term and you get long term problems.

there are no shortcuts and no jump ahead 2 spaces cards, but that is the way we keep operating, if we just sign this guy that will fix all our problems etc...

I wish the organization really would change, but it wont. It will just get deeper in the mud as the wheels spin.

I just watched the best team I've ever seen (07 Patriots) lose to a team we beat twice by 10 points.

I just watched the Cardinals play in the Super Bowl for christ sakes.

Its a league of parity, anything can happen. We win a couple games in December next year, and stay injury free - ya never know.

On the other hand, we also could go 7-9 next year. Parity.

I do however don't think we are as far away as you believe.
