I think if you watch Whitehurst it is obvious why the Cowboy scouts (as well as some others) may have become enamored with him...he sets up well, appears to have good footwork, has nearly flawless throwing mechanics and a nice high release...in addition its obvious he has a strong arm...a good QB coach and offensive coordinator is going to be able to do something with this kid
I think Clemens can be seen throwing in the WR Demetrius Williams' highlights...cant focus on him as much as the QB clips however

Why the sudden interest in Kellen Clemens?
These QB's who playing mostly out of the shotgun in college scare me, moreso with Clemens.
I should go back and find a quote made by either him, a coach or a teammate where they say Clemens looks and feels more comfortable than he ever had playing in the shotgun formation and given that opportunity for that pass-run option.
