I really don't like this move if I'm a Vikes fan. Sage might be a little bit of an upgrade over what they have up there, but this Vikes team to me is just one player away, QB, from being a top 3-5 team in the NFL.

I think Jeff Garcia would have been a better fit.

Jeff Garcia is 53 years old. He doesn't have the arm to get it down field anymore and has maybe 1 year left. He was the reason the Bucs had such a horrible red zone offense.

He is a backup in the league.

Disagree. He has won everywhere he's been. He's smart, and doesn't do stupid things with the ball. He's efficient, and has had a qb rating over 90 the last 3 years.

They don't need a miracle worker in Minny, they need a competant qb, ala Kerry Collins in Tennessee, and they can go far. Real far.
