Did anyone notice the irony at the end of this game? Same situation as last week, but one QB failed. ;)

Sure did.

What's amazing is they ran the ball so well on that drive. Romo did not have the benefit of a running game at all. RG3 could pretty much hand the ball off to Morris and get a guaranteed 6 or 7 yards every single play, not to mention they were able to get out of bounds on those runs as well.

I was one of those people. IMO, a timeout should have been called after the receiver went OB on the long pass play to get everyone's mind right. It was clear that Detroit would attack goal to go on the next play to have a chance at winning and we needed the kids (Hamilton and Heath) to absolutely know their assignment or adjust coverage for Carr to get help on Johnson. Noone else on the team could beat you at that point. That was an epic fail to not call a timeout because the clock was stopped anyways- why not? Why are you reserving TO's for a possession you might have with less than 40 seconds to play?

It's a tough call, but yeah, i think you wait until detroit almost gets lined up there and then you take a timeout. If you take the timeout, you might have to defend one fade route to megatron to win the game. Easier said than done, but it would have been better than seeing stafford just reach the ball over the top with no resistance.

Watch his face on the sideline. He looks confused all game long.
frazier has been coaching since 1988. garrett has been coaching since 2005. i'm sure frazier has forgotten more football then the red headed genius knows. idk why you're bringing up his face though. when garrett is stoic on the sidelines people start having flashbacks to landry yet when frazier shows the same stoic behavior (something he's done his entire career) he's in over his head, dumb, confused, stupid...hmmm.

@The Natural i think we need to sound the :mjpls: alarm.

Extremeskins is hysterical right now.
Just go to the game thread and start on page 69. Pure gold.

Total. Meltdown. Boy, they sure use some colorful language over there after their hearts have been ripped out and stomped on, huh? LOL. Their suffering rejuvenates me.

It's a tribute to the quality of teams in the NFC North. If the Vikings start anybody other than Josh Freeman in the Meadowlands, they beat the Giants by at least 10 points.

no giants win that game comfortably.

What's it going to be then, eh?

Thanks refs. I hope you enjoy your envelopes of cash.
What a joke. I was going to buy a new Almo jersey if we won this game but Im done giving the NFL ANY OF MY MONEY ANYMORE.
IT IS RIGGED and I hope this game opens a lot of eyes. Good night all.

This league is rigged. It's not fun anymore. The powers that be are intentionally doing this to the Commanders and I bet it is all linked to the name change. There is no other rational explanation for what we just witnessed.

How these people manage to function in their normal lives amazes me.

I was about to post that second quote! One of my favorites so far. Really captures just how close some of them are to falling off the edge of sanity.

WRONG AGAIN. DAD...I know every bit of history about the Boys and that includes whipping your behind in dc with a rook qb Clint Longley.

I wouldnt say you know everything about the Cowboys history. Not only did Clint Longley not throw a pass in DC during his rookie year, he never threw a pass in his career in DC. Surely, a great Cowboys historian would know that Clint The Mad Bomber Longley had his big day against the Skins on Thanksgiving at home- not at RFK Stadium.
