Doubt it. They spent a first on Bradford (I expect the Eagles would have taken less). He's got an 18 mill cap hit. Doubt they'd bring in another highly paid QB

Unfortunately, I think you're right. I'm guessing they were pretty pleased with Bradford's overall play all thing considered and expect him to make improvement with a full offseason of preparation going in as the starter.

That sounds like a career ending injury. You don't see players come back from two years of rehab after an injury like that and play. Reminds me of Marcus Lattimore, gruesome injury, tried to come back but it was too much. Sad!

No guarantees Bridgewater is still capable of playing once healed.

Minnesota might want to blow it all up. Cut all the big contracts like Peterson and Bradford. Trade DE Everson Griffen and Kyle Rudolph. Maybe see what Eric Barr would bring. Continue building out the defense and create around $110mil in cap room for '18. They've already found the hardest positions to fill on Defense. Draft the trenches.

That Bradford trade is one of the worst I can remember. Spielman really screwed them.

On the bright side, Zimmer should be available in a year or two.

He has no shot of winning with that offense relying on Bradford.
And Zimmer also has no shot of winning while relying on Zimmer to coach a team.

I remember reading it was expected to be a 2 year recovery shortly after the injury. Really unfortunate. Teddy was starting to look like a great player and his team was becoming stacked. He was my favorite QB in that draft by far. I was hoping we would take him. Hope he makes a full recovery and has a long career ahead of him.

Well, there were a ton of injuries other than Teddy that hurt things.

A healthy AP (if he's still even close to what he once was), Kalil and another WR should make that offense a lot better, regardless of who the QB is.

They could have Montana, Peterson, Gronkowski, and Rice on that team and they would still be 8-8 because they haven't fixed that O-line. Until that gets addressed this team is doomed to fail.
