Vikings starting free safety Dwight Smith was arrested early Saturday morning on charges of indecent conduct. Police received a phone call from a woman who was found in a stairwell with Smith around 1:30 AM Central Time. Minnesota signed Smith to a three-year deal after he was released by the Saints just prior to training camp.

That part I get...but if she was involved why would she call the cops? The way the report reads it sounds like she made the call herself.
