Vikings gettin cocky

He was talking about bennett being wet behind the ears 10th minute of his press conference.

He also said 13th minute that he would rather have Brett with all his playoff experience then a wet behind the ears QB. Nothing about Romo

Keep it down. You are getting in the way of a frenzy by Cowboys fans with lots of frustrations from 13 years of disappointments. Let us sacrifice whomever we want at the alter.

It's pretty clear who they are trying to convince with all the talk.

we have a qb with playoff exp,and all we need to do is beat a "wet behind the ears qb"

I think i do remember it right in 2007 when that "wet behind the ears" QB schoold old fart Favre how to play QB.

:laugh2:

If our players need lockerroom bulletin board material to get them ready for their "first ever" divisional round playoff game, we all are in trouble.

This stuff means nothing.

Exactly. Not only that I think confidence in each other and believing that everybody is going to get their job done allows Dallas not to try and prove how good they are by talking. It's like the richest guy in the club. Rarely would anybody really know who has the most money. The ones flashing all the cash are just peons and want people to think they're rich. The real rich guy is sitting back and laughing at the others for flaunting so much.

Andy Reid looks so sad in your sig. Depressed. Utterly despondent.

Oh wait.

Nevermind. ;) :)

Did he actually say wet behind the ears qb?

geez. This childress is a cocky guy for accomplishing nothing in the nfl.

I think our coaching staff is very experienced and umm childress is wet behind the ears.

Usually the team who is jabbering the most is the team that's more frightened heading into the game. They are trying to convince THEMSELVES, not everyone else, that they are good enough to win. I like that you haven't really heard anything from our Boys, that tells me they have the confidence they need going into this game.

Well, Wade did get his crack on Favre earlier in the week with the 'when you get as old as we are....' line.

I love that.

I even downloaded GIMP so I could try and blur the background leaving just the players and Reid in focus to draw even more attention to that.

Lack of time and skills keeps that on the drawing board for now.

"Honestly, I see us sitting here next week having this press conference again," Favre said, via the Minneapolis Star Tribune. "If that doesn't happen, to me it will be a shock."

Pat hows it going who would you like to play in the 2nd round
Pat
It don't matter to us. We'll take Dallas, we'll take Green Bay, we'll take Arizona. So it doesn't matter.

If you could sack any quarterback, who would it be?
Pat
Right now, Tony Romo! Haha. All-time, I'd say Joe Montana.

Brett (Pill Popin) Favre
"Honestly, I see us sitting here next week having this press conference again," Favre said, via the Minneapolis Star Tribune. "If that doesn't happen, to me it will be a shock."

yep, he will be holding a presser, anouncing his retirement again, trying to steal the thunder from the NFC Championship game.

Being a bit cocky right now is not a bad thing. I have no doubt the Cowboys to a man think they will win this game.

I'm sorry but I have to disagree. He was obviously making a reference to Romo.

He and his team are obviously trying to convince themselves that victory is likely.

They're in a tough spot and they know it. They're the 2 seed, had a week off and are at home. They're supposed to win. Most home teams do on this weekend.
Problem is, they know they got the worst draw of the 4 homes teams and it's bugging them.
I think they also believe the Cowboys are just a better, hotter team.
