This doesn't preclude a trade. Sunday was only the guarantee date of the bonus, not the pay date. Money only hits the cap when it is paid, which in this case isn't until training camp. Hunter could still be traded, and that bonus would transfer to the acquiring team and still be open for restructuring into a signing bonus to be prorated and reduce his cap number.

Trading for him and signing him after he’s cut is a whole different thing
He’s not worth a lot in a trade because of his history and contract. You’d have to trade for him then extend him and that hurts his trade value
