Judd Zulgad and Sid Hartman, of the Minneapolis Star Tribune, report Minnesota Vikings head coach Brad Childress met with QB Brett Favre Wednesday, March 3, in Hattiesburg, Miss., after attending the NFL Scouting Combine. Childress told Favre the organization will put no pressure on him to make a quick decision regarding his future. "He brought it up to me - 'When are you guys going to need to know?'" Childress said. "I said, 'You know what, Brett? That's not why I came down here. I came down here to see how you're doing. It's been five weeks since we played.' We hashed through the season, we hashed through (the year he spent with) the New York Jets. We went backward and forward (on various subjects)."

Sure, Brad . . . . that's not why you went to meet Favre.

Next time, don't forget to get on your knees with a bouquet of flowers.

He'll be back.

And I look forward to him not winning the Super Bowl again.

I would absolutely love it if he ended another season on another bad pass.

I don't see him not playing this year. It's not a coincidence the season ended for them the way it did though.

Personally, stats wise, I don't think he will be able to replicate last season in 2010. He had a remarkable year in 2009 (during the regular season).

I think that was his best shot to get to another Super Bowl.

that gets intercepted by Mike Jenkins to seal our trip back Home(Superbowl!) where we defeat Rex Ryan's New York Jets!

I've said this several times and it's really no secret - both Faver AND the Vikings have their hands full when it comes to the Green Bay Packers. IMO, they are the team to watch, not only in that division, but in the entire conference.

That would make it four years in a row.

Pick in 2007 against the NYG.
Pick(s) in 2008 for the Jets to close out the season.
Pick in 2009 against New Orleans.

My wish for 2010? Pick after pick after pick as the Cowboys run roughshod over the Vikings on their way to the Super Bowl.
