The key thing in this article is that JJ paid for the 40 million dollar video board
The video board was not part of the original cost of the stadium.
It was considered a cost over-run and those cost's came out of JJ's pocket.

I think almost all new stadiums will copy it, unless they can think of something better. At this point, if you can afford it, you'd be stupid not to.

Just like the luxury suites that Texas Stadium was built with. Initially people were thinking it would reduce revenues because it took out so many seats but when the money started rolling in everyone jumped on board and had them installed in their stadiums.

As for the giant video screen, I bet the Cardinals and Texans are wishing they would have thought of it for their new stadiums. :lmao2: :lmao2: :lmao2:

Their players were talking about how they played in the "hood" in comparison to our new digs.

I guess this is akin to putting granite countertops in a house made of cardboard.

We copied the idea from the Colts who decided to change the design at the last minute. Just like any good business, everyone copies everyone.

Any chance the Vikes can get the board in 3D?
If they do I hope it works out a lot better than our failed attempt at 3D.

Of course people could always just look at the field, I think that is in 3D.
