Vikings Need McFadden

Doubt the Vikings would have much interest in him, he hasn't done anything since mid June. As soon as he comes back he's very likely to suffer some soft tissue injury (hamstring) that will nag him the rest of the season.

The Vikings are riding high as arguably the best team in the league right now. Despite their terrible run of injuries, they're winning, and dominating. They don't 'need' anything.

They can't routinely beat good teams with no running game at all.

Some team would probably give a 4th or 5th for McFadden, if they need a rb badly and are in contention.

Keep in mind you aren't going to find a running back on the trade market who is good, who is also expendable to the team that has him on the roster.

A bit bitter today?

It bothers me to come here after another incredible win and performance by Dak to hear people talking about how much they miss Romo. The few apologists that we have left do seem to be dwindling, however. And the Romo apologists seem to be either conceding or running for cover.

Unless they are offering a second or third, it wouldn't be wise to make a team playing as solid as the VIkings even stronger.
We are only 5 games into the season.

If we get an injury run like last year at the position..

we will be darn glad we have him.

DET just signed ex-1000 yard RB Justin Forsett off the street after he was cut by BAL.....if there was a trade market for washed up RBs Forsett would have been traded and not cut...and he was the healthy starter

We will cut him when we activate him from NFI list......EE, Alf, Dunbar and DJax all have more value.....even RSmith plays STs and could fill in at RB in a pinch

Nope.

I think they play him and get something out of the contract.

Then they let him walk after the season.

Dunbar is injury prone and won't make it thru the season.

And he scares nobody running the ball.

He's only good running strait line pass patterns.

It's pretty obvious.

When would they play him?????

He can't crack the 53 man roster let alone the 46 man gameday list...AMorris can't even get carries

Personally I wouldn't try to help the team with the best record in the league.

You seem to forget..

Before Zeke was drafted..

and he broke his elbow..

he and Morris WERE our running attack.
