What is up with all the love for their defense? They were ranked 32nd vs the pass last season and 20th overall. Jared Allen is a bad, bad man but he isnt going to take them from 20th overall to a top 5 defense. Am I missing something here?

I know it is preseason but the Seahawks had people running free in their secondary all night including in the first quarter with Minnesota's starters on the field.

cause they had a good run defense and getting the 2007 sack leader can only help the pass.

I also thought that it was strange why they were sometimes rated in the top 3 defenses They have a good D-line but the rest of their defense is about average Darren Sharper is good but is getting up there in age.
