Vince Young signs with Browns

The Cleveland Browns have signed veteran quarterbacks Vince Young and Tyler Thigpen, general manager Ray Farmer announced Thursday.

Young and Thigpen both participated in the Browns' three-day minicamp, which started Tuesday.

Young was not in the league last season, and Farmer said earlier this week that he wanted to see Young perform and that the minicamp tryout was the best way.

I don't think so. He always had that funny delivery, and wasn't very accurate. I do think it's funny that he's still in the NFL, but Tebow isn't, after all the hype Tebow got.

I doubt his career will be rejuvenated too much. There is nothing wrong with being a back up, but I doubt he does anything too special at this point in his career.. And of course he could end up being cut at any time as well.

At no point in his career has he been able to read defenses. Unless something has happened to change that, he will not be having any kind of career rejuvenation.

100% true, but I believe his physical talent alone warrants him a backup job in the NFL. As the Titans starter he wasn't atrocious man, he was top 24 QB in the NFL, which is backup material.
