Radio's stats before today:

90/197 (45.7 completion%, lowest among NFL starters by far)
1,074 yards
6 TD
8 INT
12 sacks
56.1 rating

Excuse me for not jumping on the bandwagon

Would you disagree that they have a bunch of players hurt that could help all that? Would you disagree that in the end it is about the win or loss? Would you care that the Aggies QB rating is 1% as long as they beat UT 3 , 2?

So it's ok for you to play the injury card, but not ok for me to play the Giants defense sucks card? This thread isnt about the team, it's about their QB.

BTW, "Superman" should be able to win no matter the circumstances. After all, he is a WINNER. What a ****** joke.

HH, A legend in his own mind.

Vince Young, a legend in the minds of the easily swayed bandwagoner. We all know the reason everyone is on his nuts here is because he is a Texas kid.

All this game proves is that the Giants defense blows. Vince Young would have never even had a chance if the Giants just knew how to tackle....
Excellent point

Your showing your age man and totally avoiding my questions. I don't dispute the fact that the Giants defense got abused but it was Vince abusing them.

Whether he is from Texas does not change the fact that he has engineered three great comebacks.

UT vs Michigan
UT vs USC
Titans vs Giants

If he was from Cali I would still give him props. Your just mad because he owned your Aggies.

Or maybe, everyone saw him play at the University of Texas and know that he is a WINNER.

only thing that matters in the NFL is winning.
It doesn't matter how pretty you look, or how great
of a passer you are.

all that matters is the W,
and that's what you will get from Vince.

Guy had a great game. Despite a couple missed tackles the guy deserves some credit.

Over 60% of his passes completed no picks and 3 TDs. Yet you cannot at least admit the guy had a great game.

Why are you unable to see that? Because of your ego.

Problem is that everyone sees right through you. Its like Parcells says, 'If they dont bite when theyre puppies then they wont ever bite at all.'

Vince Young just had himself a mouthful.

I thought the kid would need more time to make it in the NFL. But he finds a way- just like a winner does. He may never have pretty stats- but as long as the W's keep coming who cares?

Vince Young is still a flawed passer. He had several bad passes on the game-tying drive that could have come back to haunt the Titans.

But you can't overlook his winning mentality/attitude. IMO, he single-handedly brought his team and crowd back into that game. That's worth something in this league.

Eli, meanwhile, was motionless on the sideline, almost as if hopeful that no one would see him if he stood still.

You can't help but wonder what might have been had the Mannings not whined Eli's way out of San Diego.

Granted, the Chargers may have very well had Rivers atop their board all along. Still, it's just funny.

Vince Young and the Titans are 4-7.

3 of their wins are our division. They beat Washington, Philadelphia, and New York today. They lost to us in his debut. Could we ask for more?

I don't care how good or bad he turns out to be, thank you Vince Young.

One of these things is not like the other, one of these things just doesnt belong....

BTW, Vince Young had two of the worst games of his career against A&M. He had a total of 5 turnovers and just 2 TDs in 2 games against us. Nice try, though

Actually, he is, but don't let facts get in your way. He runs the scout team offense for the Bengals.

Vince Young looks like a rookie who is learning how to play in a pro style system. That doesn't mean he looks bad or looks good. Just looks like most guys who come into the league. They all have something to prove. Same was said about Alex Smith last year or J.P. Losman or Troy Aikman in 1989. They all have to grow. Some do and some don't.

Watching him in college or right now still early in his career, I don't know how anyone can conclusively say how his career will turn out. There are good things about how he plays and bad things. The one thing that does stick out is that he has improved every year I have seen him play. He has heart and determination and that can take a player a long way. I wouldn't bet against him being successful in the NFL even though I do think he has a long way to go to progress into being a good QB.

He has been an important reason why the Titans have beaten the Cowboy's rivals and I am glad he has done it. Now Dallas needs to do their part.
