BP just admitted that he would have changed what he did after JJ gained 6 yards on first down.

They asked what he would do differently in the game and this was one of the things that he mentioned.

1st and 10: JJ gets 6 yards
2nd and 4: Pass incomplete
3rd and 4: Pass incomplete
4th and 4: Guess what we did.

We should have been running the ball. The defense was playing only a 4 man front etc.

Listen to the PC and you should be able to comprehend it.

Well you're right he should have. 4-man front= Julius for 14 yards, then no huddle play action to Glenn to the endzone, at least it looks like bill may have learned his lesson.

You were not alone.;)

We have the big return, rip off a nice run and we have 20 seconds before the 2 minute warning and 2 time outs.

The smart play would have been to let the clock run to 2 minutes or hurry up and then run a draw.

What we did was, we were unsure if we'd hurry up than lined up with about 5 seconds to go and than threw the ball away leaving 1:57 left.

So instead of it being a possible first down inside the 40 with 2 minutes, if we catch them with a draw, or 2nd and 4 with 2 minutes, we have a 3rd and 4 with under two minutes.

The game was lost right there.

We also got pass happy after they scored their first TD, we passed, had incompletions and a costly penalty in pass protection. Would we have been any worse off if we'd have just ran the ball, forced them to use their timeouts and punted?

really bad clock control, it reminds me of the fecals. hopefully this is a one time thing, not a continual thing like the fecals.
