BP just admitted that he would have changed what he did after JJ gained 6 yards on first down.

You were not alone.
We have the big return, rip off a nice run and we have 20 seconds before the 2 minute warning and 2 time outs.
The smart play would have been to let the clock run to 2 minutes or hurry up and then run a draw.
What we did was, we were unsure if we'd hurry up than lined up with about 5 seconds to go and than threw the ball away leaving 1:57 left.
So instead of it being a possible first down inside the 40 with 2 minutes, if we catch them with a draw, or 2nd and 4 with 2 minutes, we have a 3rd and 4 with under two minutes.
The game was lost right there.
We also got pass happy after they scored their first TD, we passed, had incompletions and a costly penalty in pass protection. Would we have been any worse off if we'd have just ran the ball, forced them to use their timeouts and punted?
