That picture of Dan Reeves in a cast is quite telling of how times have changed...

Here sits a professional athlete, a RB for the Dallas Cowboys - America's premiere sports franchise, sitting in a hospital bed... with a pack of cigarettes on his table.

That pic was actually taken in color, but reproduced in black & white.

Don't know why, but when I read "Standard Players Contract" I laughed.

I would imagine if a rookie signs for the CBA minimum, that simple contract is probably contained in a one inch 3-ring binder.

He is doing fine. I have him on FB and he said he is enjoying life.

BTW, the Edwards photo isn't a press photo but a Team Issue photo that they released in sets and were given away to fans. Just FYI.
