Landry was the man. I grew up about 30 miles away from Coach Landry's hometown. I've had the opportunity to coach in Tom Landry stadium on three different occasions and I am proud to say that I am 3-0 in those games.

That's awesome, Coach. What a surreal feeling for you, I'm sure, and you rose to the occasion! Undeafeted, brudda!

For me, Tom Landry is one of those beautiful personas, a truely beautiful person, ala Wayne Gretzky, Mickey Mantle, Roger Staubach, Darren Woodson, and Sean Taylor. Odd bunch, I know. I'm weird like that. Tom Landry was a beautiful soul. I have a keen eye for these souls that glow.
