Can anyone recommend a good virtual machine that I can run on my XP box so I can mess around with Linux(Ubutu or Fedora) without having to dual boot.

Most version of linux allow you to boot from the cd without actually installing it.

Running a crashed windows system that wont boot with a Linux CD.
