The Steelers annually are pushed against the salary cap. They also have 3 key players being FA's Randle El, Hope and OG Simmons. They also need to hand Ben and Parker extensions soon as do they need to hand extensions to Polamalu and Haggans. Ben showed is true colors Sunday and I can honestly say our Dallas Cowboys could have played with them. Yet, more than likely we would have been gipped because the Steelers are from Pittsburgh and the zebras seem to be fine with them winning cheaply.

The Steelers defense stepped up and their offense is crap, next year if Wisenhunt is gone to Oakland they are screwed too IMO...

Well, even with the refs, this was not a lock win for the Stealers. It would have been interesting to see what would have happened against a better team.

I thought I read that the Steelers were 10 million under the cap for next season?

Nice King nice. I sure hope you meant to spell that word the way you spelled it.

Even if the Steelers resign all their players, exactly what about their team makes you scared to play them or what convinces you they will be in the Super Bowl again?
Nothing. There is nothing "Super" about their team.

as long as they have enough cash for the zebra's, you never know

Whats the over/under on threads started today saying we could have beaten either team and won the superbowl this year.....gimmie a break.

They had more then three players out there and the rest of those guys will be back mostly and they all know the system inside and out. I could see them reloading and giving it another shot. In the parity riddled NFL, even with the loses, they should be favorites to win again. They have the core group set and they have the franchise QB ready to roll.

I wouldn't say theres no way they repeat, instead, theres a pretty good chacnec they could. They will be there in January next year, just wether the other teams play better against them and wether the refs have decided they should not win it all this year.
