I already did this in a couple of posts, but just (happily) eating some crow. Let's hope he keeps it up!

The other post was closed, but let me say to whoever called it back up, "Classy. Real class act. That's exactly what people with intelligence and a good heart do. They say "I told you so," in hindsight. Nice job."

My other post responded to some poor preseason performances, and this does not change what anyone with eyes could see in the preseason. But I posted it hoping I would be wrong, so I'm still hoping.

Hopefully in the second half of the season we start seeing nice play from Carter too!

He will keep it up.

Lee will be an all-time great Cowboy. I said it on draftday, I say it now.

That's the weirdest crow eating I've ever seen. If you're going to go big on an opinion, and be wildly wrong, the best course is to just say 'my bad' and be done with it.

In this case, you weren't just wrong about Sean Lee, you were wrong about Sean Lee in the preseason, too. The criticism of him not shedding blocks was unwarranted at the time, and has been completely disproven after week one. Just be glad we look to have hit on a young ILB and let's hope we have another one to pair with him coming off the PUP list in 5 weeks.

I think I called Sean Lee invisible, but I also said the jury was still out on him. That said I was really quite impressed with what he did last night. I hope Carter can come in and have a similar impact, cause Bradie James is pretty much done.

I'll take some crow but I wasn't wrong about his game until last night.

We haven't seen that Sean Lee. He was great at every phase of the game.

I don't know what you said, but if it was critical of his play, then you were just straight-up wrong about him. He'd already displayed what a good player he is, and not just by picking off Peyton Manning.

And the criticism of him in the preseason was baseless jitters from skittish fans.

THAT is what an active ILB looks like in a 3-4.

I love Bradie, he's been rock solid for us throughout his whole career.

But I don't think he's ever had a game like Lee's masterpiece yesterday.
