I'm just dreaming. You know. I don't know much about football. Just a silly guy.

Picture yourself as Jerry.

(Just do it, for a minute: you're Jerral WJ. )

You're drunk.

You feel like gambling.

It's draft day.

Once again, you've had too many.

Does your Jerry say "hold my beer and move up for a player like Kancey, maybe give a team your 26 and next year's third, for the bump to 20, if he's in reach?

Not, you, the-You-Jerry . . . Would you do something like that, if he's in range, say if the Eagles take someone else, like Bijan?

OK, wake the frogs up.

Seriously, not seriously, would something like Parsons and Kancey at the same time really just make teams hate our defense even more?
Remember, we didn't get beat down the stretch because our defense wasn't good enough. They were. But this could have the making of something like Jordan and Pippen, old school-style dominant duo just giving teams fits in their backfield.

We'll see how it goes. If there's one player who looks like they could maybe fall it's Kancey, but he's worth a pick in my mind because he could end up being the steal of the draft on defense, almost anywhere he goes. I don't want to play him. In that case, I think I'd be tempted to get Gibbs, and distract him with two backs rather than two TE.

With Bijan, you can play him at TE, FB, WR, RB pretty much endless. So you could return the favor if Eagles go Kancey in 10.

My only concern is the weight. If he was even 285 I would be more inclined. Philly’s Oline would blow him off the ball IMO.

DIMO Kancey is not an option. Defensive tackle, short arms etc.

We typically get our DTs in the 3rd and below. Which I am ok with if Osa is their guy and Hankins is the 1T. Would love Benton but I feel like he’s rocketing up boards.

Kancey and Darnell Wright are my two favorite players in this draft. I just don't see either one being there at 26. Nor do I see Jerry Jones valuing DT enough to move up for Kancey or take a DT in round 1.

He is going to be a situational pass rusher (with no length) for, probably, his whole career. He’s just too small… and Kancey is no Aaron Donald.

I wouldn’t spend a first on that.

Dallas already has an undersized interior pass rusher in Golston, who they moved inside last season. By the end of the year he was playing well and he has the length that Kancey so desperately needs.

Osa, is just a longer, stronger Kancey with NFL experience.

In a vacuum, I wouldn’t mind having Kancey on the team to rotate in on passing downs… but I can’t use a high pick to get him.

Only Concern? i have several. arms are 31in he's not that strong oh and there is the weight. he lets people get in to his body too much. only wins with speed. to me he's Odigi which we already have on the roster.

HE is NOT Aaron Donald or even close.

People are as stupid about him as some are about Richardson

I will prefer Bryan Bresee, at 26 or trade down and select Mazi Smith, one of them could make the defense more dangerous. why not boot?

It's not happening, they use high picks on one dimensional players.

Totally agree, Kancey will be totally one-dimensional.

That said, pass-rushing 3T is an important piece, but he isn't likely to provide anything else outside of strict passing downs. I love him at like 46, but not at 26.

Kancey at DT with Parsons at DE...What would offenses do? Run the ball.

Bijan is not going to play TE.

Kancey is probably the most overrated prospect to be honest. Donald's name is always mentioned with this guy and honestly it's an insult to Donald.

average prospect that is hyped cause he plays the same position as Aaron Donald and they both went to Pitt. Dude is NOT Aaron Donald.

Wanna be draftniks may try to compare him to Donald, but real evaluators are more realistic.
Think Geno Atkins or Ed Oliver.

Great article on blogging the boys on why you dont take a RB in the first round. Also talks about how the theory of using two backs or putting a back in the slot doesnt make a whole lot of sense. That it sounds great in theory and sounds sexy, but the application doesnt translate on the field and with the scheme.
