Here we are at last!!!
Another start to the NFL Season.
Visions of Sugar Plums and Super Bowls dancing in our head:
Ole Gawd !!!!!! How Good or Bad will my Cowboys be?
We start the 2007 season with high expectations and Why Not??????
A new Head Coach which brings a new system and attitude to our team which many of us thought was needed. Thanks to Mr. Parcells the team is loaded for bear w/talent and Wade , the players coach, along with his scheme and demeanor should and will put that talent in a position to be successful.
The new Offensive and Defensive Coordinators will present a new look on both sides of the ball. The O will utilize each and every weapon which should keep opposing D’s on their heels. The D will attack and apply pressure to the QB from everywhere which can only be advantageous to our young and unproven DBs.
We start the 2007 season with many unanswered questions…So What’s New??????
Do we have Questions unanswered, well of course we do. With every opening day from 1960 to present there has been questions that needed to be answered. There has always been players, coaches, schemes that needed to be proven in this hostile environment known as the NFL.
Will Tony play up to our expectations?
Will our OL dominate?
Will the DL be a dominant force?
Will JJ have a break out season?
Will Ware become an even larger beast?
Will our young and untested DBs step up?
Will Folk come through in those pressure situations?
A Question for all of us…….Will one Game answer all of the above?
Landry, Johnson, Switzer, Gailey, Parcells, and now Phillips each entered an opening day filled with anxiety at a fever pitch high and with many a question to be answered..
One thing for sure, after today there there still remains many more games to be won or lost on this long road to the playoffs and Super Bowl.……a win would be great… but it does not make the season, and with that being said, a loss does not devastate the season.
This Old Man says we “WIN”.
