Anyone here been in the “standing room only” seats at FedEx? My son wants to go for his birthday but those seats look pretty cheap and Idk about having my 12 year old around drunk skins fans. Been there with friends in good seats and ram into a few idiots but nothing major, Ive been told the further you go up in rivals jerseys the more ignorant people become.

im thinking this will get moved to a more "Appropriate forum."
Cant help you in this stadium. Its one of the ones on my list to still get to. BUT, I would never do standing room only. You leave to go to the restroom, you aint getting back to a place where you can see the game.

I’ve been to multiple games there as I am from the area.

The higher up standing room isn’t too bad. Every stadium has its hecklers and annoying fans. People will boo you, talk smack but it’s nothing you have to fear for. Just laugh it off or playfully talk back. Don’t go up there cussing people out or acting a fool and you’ll be fine.

People don’t mess with people with kids. It’s a massive no no.

I went to one game at the FedEx field and I was like never again. Wearing my Witten jersey and the drunk Skins fan in the row behind me, kicked me in the back. I walked out in the half. That place is terrible.

I live in NJ and have made the drive down many times.

I looked at stubhub yesterday out of curiosity and was stunned at how expensive the seats are.

I don't know if they are actually moving at those numbers but wow....pricey.

I don't think it's a great idea to do an SRO thing with a younger person. There will a lot of shoving around, kids always need or want something which means you're going to lose your spot, you'll be dealing with drunks....and on the down the line.

As far as being harassed with Dallas gear, probably not at all. Maybe a comment or two but nothing to worry about.

It's one of the worst game experiences in the NFL. Stadium is awful. The reconfigurations make it look like even more of a big mistake. Cash parking, even some of the reserve lots, are a hike. Nothing at all to do around the place...its in the middle of nowhere.

If you're not inclined or not able to spend a lot on seats, I would wait until at least Saturday and grab something in the upper level. It's waaay up there in that place but not an awful vantage point and by then shouldn't cost much more than the SROs do now.

Good luck either way.

I watched a 7 year old have a beer poured on his head in 2014 in Philly. The dad stood up and realized he was outnumbered by about 20 and sat back down. His daughter probably will never go to a game again.

I lived in the DMV for 15 years and been to many games there I would advise you spend the cheese get some seats bro because them standing room only you will be among trash talking fans looking to get into conflict for no reason.

Except at the Eagles stadium....

Washington fans are cool behavior wise

only reason i dont like them is because they always act like their team just won the superbowl

but otherwise all my friends are washington fans and the games ive been to ive gotten along easily with them

All stadiums in the world have some trash talkin idiots lookin for trouble. And in soccer too you'll find them mostly in the standing only areas. So especially with a kid I'd advise you being an away fan to get some seats elsewhere.

Even with the soccer team I follow I stay away from the standing only area. Okay, one reason is I'm a lazy arse sitting down fan but also because I want to have a nice time and not watch for idiots constantly.

Didn't even know football stadiums in the NFL even have standing only areas. All the games I have been to (Texas Stadium a few times, 49ers, NYG) we had seats.

May I ask what you payed? I couldn't believe my eyes when I checked prices for Jerry world. Who pays 600 bucks or more for two seats (regular price?)

Anyway, have fun. The more Cowboy fans in the stadium the better.

In regards to tickets and prices... stub hub and all the other after market sites control the prices using their algorithms. They have years of ticket sales data and they use that data to set the market price and they keep it up based upon their algorithm.

I sold 2 tickets to the Thanks giving day game and I didnt even get to set the price. Gametime did. They didnt want me to set the price below what they felt they could get for the tickets, because the more they sell for, the more they make off of fees. I actually wrote my local congressman over this practice because I put it on par with insider stock trading.

Read my other post.. prices are manipulated by after market sites.

You can get tickets for cheaper. In New Orleans, my friend got his 2 tickets for about 100 each at the 35 yard line. You can get upper level seats at AT&T for anywhere from 125 to 300 depending on the game and section and how the Cowboys are doing.

Now, you dont fight, just text the security and they would show up and those fools that poured the beer would be kicked out and if they have season tickets, theyd lose them, and possibly even get arrested for pouring the beer on a kid.

hes a better man than i, i would have taken as many of them as i could, i might have gotten killed but i guarnatee that guy that poored the beer would have been eating through a straw for the rest of his life.

I am going to the Cowboys - Giants game at Metlife Stadium on 12/19. It is going to be great, I live in NJ, Giants fans are so down on the team it is awesome listening to them. They are going to have to pass on the 5th year option for Daniel Jones. Barkley is going to walk away as a free agent. GM has to be fired. Joe Judge won't be around long, time to start over again hahaha.

There are going to be so many Cowboys fans there it will be a true take over. I can't wait for the game, the tailgate, the whole day. My early Christmas present!

Lots of Boys fans in Dirty Jersey.....represent.
