i'm debating about putting it on my mac, would be nice to play some games every once and a while

crappy driver support and shotty hardware support
there is no reason to upgrade it for at least 6 months
some HP printers wont ever be supported
ton of games won't work with vista
its to much of a PITA to use vista right now

to each their own. i've been using it since lastnight and all my programs are working fine and actually better. but i guess with everything somebody will not be satisfied

I wouldn't doubt if MS has some Windows 95 flashbacks for a couple months.

I will wait until my company gets around to buying it at a huge discount.

And since we buy them with multiple licenses I will just have a copy made for my home PC.

Which means by that time they should be on SP1 or later and had many bugs worked out.

i havent read about any bugs. im sure there will be some along the way but right now im satisfied

I got the home premium edition for free and I love it. I only have on issue with a game and everything else works great.

I love the AERO theme and whatnot.

No one should buy it untill the first SP comes out; lots of bugs will not come out until more people use it. I remember when 95, 98, 2000 and all the rest came out- never be early to use the new system; you WILL regret it.

I will wait way over priced; All current games not using direct x10 will take roughly a 15% drop in performance and since I play MMO's that is bad.

Vista is even more of a resource pig than XP; nothing really special about it making it worth the upgrade.

There is a report out that there are several security vulnerabilities already found.

I beta tested the software and it was hohum. Driver support is bad so far and not application have been written yet to take advantage of the changes in Vista.

I have adopted both XP and Vista on the day they came out and never had a problem with XP and only have had one problem with Vista that a patch cleared up.

Then you are very lucky. I went early for both 95 and 98 and had lots of problems.
