Suddenly my browser is unable to open several websites I visit frequently, but some others I am having no problem with.

Does that sound like my browser or my ISP? Or something else?:

My cable modem seems to be working properly.

I am noticing everyones sigs here that are hosted by photobucket are not showing up here at CBZ and those google ads are not displaying either.

Can someone help me diagnose this problem, I would be thankful.

Do you have a different computer with XP you can hook up to test with?

If so I'd hook it up and see if you can get to those site.

sounds like a DNS error. I would call my internet provider after turning off your modem, router and computer if your DNS isn't automatically found.

Yeager and rant

Thanks for chiming in.

A few minutes after posting this everything began to function properly on it's own accord.

I guess the best PC problems are the ones that solve themselves, but it still leaves me wondering why it happened.

I have had some minor problems with Time Warner Cable, but nothing to be too concerned with.

Thank You again.
