Colts sign Vollers to replace injured Gonzalez

Indianapolis Colts: The Colts placed backup offensive lineman Joaquin Gonzalez on injured reserve Wednesday and signed Kurt Vollers.
Gonzalez sprained his right ankle while on special teams during Sunday's 31-17 victory over Houston.
Vollers played with the Dallas Cowboys in 2003 and 2004 and started 12 games. The 6-foot-7, 315-pound tackle was in training camp with the Colts in 2002, signing as an undrafted free agent from Notre Dame.
The Colts also signed offensive lineman Clint Stickdom to the practice squad.
