The whole front 7….actually the whole defense when you look at it. Adding Thompson and Downs to the secondary….getting rid of the linebackers….pretty much rebuilt it in one offseason or I guess two if you factor last year rookies.

Considering the Cowboys draft resources for next year and Crosby's pay, this seems unlikely.

This. Especially since we may be in desperate need of multiple offensive tackles next year. Giving up both a ton of capspace and premium picks is probably not the smartest thing right now.

This is correct. He also had Eberflus and everyone got worse under him.

A few years after we should have brought him in, but he's a nice veteran addition to our pass rush. He showed last year that he can still provide that while we have no ends outside of Gary who have done the same. Up to Eze, Lawrence, Houston and Williams to limit his snaps.

Pretty old now, gonna be 37 I think….can treally expect a whole lot on pass rushing I don’t think…hope I’m wrong. If there’s one thing I’m worried about its the pass rush….have a bad feeling Gary, Malachi Lawrence and EZ and an old Miller and the rest won’t be enough at OLB…and it’s hard for 3-4 DL to get sacks unless ur Bruce Smith or JJ Watt. We will see, I hope it doesn’t end up our Achilles heel. Hope EZ has put on enough weight and developed enough to where he….or anyone, is a double digit sack guy.

Imagine playing the Cowboys and on 3rd down looking at Miller, Williams , Clark , and Gary rushing you.

I think Gary will be inside at DT on third downs in passing situations, with Houston, Eze and Lawrence vying for playing time opposite Miller.

Wow. I actually love this move. Having him around EZ and Lawrence is going to be big for their development; regardless of what Miller has left in the tank himself.

No doubt, and he still probably has a decent amount left in the tank.

I dunno. On the one hand, 20 snaps a game would be helpful and he will be a positive influence on the younger guys.

On the other hand, the timing is suspicious. I don't think they really wanted to do this but a lack of development from the younger guys forced the issue.

Obviously, his impact will depend on his ability to stay healthy.

I would be shocked if they got Maxx at this point. They have a lot of OLB or 4-3 DE guys….none are overly exciting though…..so I would still be stoked if they got him.

Obviously, I'd rather we signed Hendrickson or traded for Crosby or Garrett, but at least we're trying to improve it. They traded for one pass rusher, spent a first-round pick on a pass rusher and now have added a veteran who had nine sacks last year. That's decent resources invested in trying to fix it.

Hopefully those 9 sacks with the Commanders last year didn't drain him of all his remaining juice.

I was hoping Crosby but Miller is most likely an upgrade over Gary even if he's 10 years older than him.

Better than what they have.
