More like the fans are happy to add a quality veteran that can hopefully be a piece of the whole overall puzzle. A piece. Nothing more nothing less. At worst can be a mentor to the young guys,

This means they couldn't manage to bring in Maxx Crosby, and Von is just a consolation prize—one I don't really see making a difference in improving this defense or turning them into contenders. If Von was still available, there was a reason for it, and the same goes for why Dallas hadn't signed him earlier.

There were only 17 players in the league last year that had more sacks then Von. How we don't see that is a upgrade over Williams or Houston is beyond me.

We need Linebacker depth. IMO, this was a great addition to the team, he will bring a real value to that room. I just hope his contract is team-friendly.
