Miller says his smile is back, waiting for his debut on Sunday night.

"I don't have a plan [yet], but this is my 16th year in the National Football League," said the seven-time All-Pro and former Super Bowl MVP. "I like to think that I'm a coach's dream.
I just try to make everybody's job easy — coaches and the players around me. Whatever I can do to help contribute to wins is why I'm here.
"Whether that's in the locker room or out there on the football field, I'm still a sack daddy, so I'll have my opportunity to go out there and rush the quarterback and contribute to wins."

When did he say he was just here as a lockerroom guy? He literally said he was going to get sacks.
"My contract is what it is. They’re not paying me for what I do on the football field," Miller said. "If I go out there and get eight sacks, 10 sacks, I’m way underpaid. They’re paying me, and my contract is what it is to be the locker room guy."

Not sure i like some of his comments or approch. I get the feeling he doesnt truly believe he has to produce on the field. I dont need "a great teammate". Just my 2cents from listening to a few of his soundbites and interviews.
I think at this stage in his career he knows he still can contribute on the field but not the way he used to, so he's trying to make up for that by mentoring and passing on his knowledge to the younger guys. It’s not a bad thing.

Sick and tired of this dude's yapping. Dude loves himself more than Micah.

If he doesn't get to the quarterback early in the year a lot, cut chicken man loose.

He’s our best QB rusher by a mile, And people are complaining! I hope he kills it.
I watched a few 25 highlight videos and Miller played great. Still productive. He has all the tricks. Pursues. Still has bend. Plays with power. Made some plays downfield. Guy was balling out last season. If they keep him to 35/45 snaps a game he will definitely wreak havoc.

I tend to agree with you. I've not said anything but nothing I've heard from him so far has impressed me and instead everything I've read and listened to has made me wonder why he's actually here.

I liked the Clowney signing last year and I'm starting to think we would have been better off bringing him back if we wanted an older veteran rusher and not signing Miller, and that's strange because I have a lot of respect for what Miller has done in his career.

Miller has just looked like the old man on the field when I've seen videos of him and that combined with all of the comments I've heard him make him sound like he's more interested in coaching or front office positions than actually playing.

If that's the case they should cut him and hire him to their staff. He can do those things he's constantly talking about without taking up roster or salary cap space.

I really hope that's the case! I just wish he talked more about that rather than how he will help other people on the team. We have coaches for that.
I think the players are already done listening. Dude won't shut up.
