LOL Bob!It is apparently not simple for this front office.
Quit being so hard on our front office!
I mean it’s hard to get reliable cell phone reception on the yacht!

I would love to sign WagnerIt's not either/or. Miller cost virtually nothing. They could sign both.
The inside linebacker corps looks reasonable at the moment.
I think they are still working to acquire Brooks, Crosby, Sweat, or Thibodeaux. That may have to wait until the trade deadline.
I'm not sure they even know what they prefer right now.
Wagner is a big need. Overshown has not played inside and he has not played a full season. Wagner should be signed as a primary rotating ILB. This defense needs his stability. It's not either/or. Miller cost virtually nothing. They could sign both.

Stephen is more the problem than the cap frankly. They could restructure Bland, moving most of his $12 million base. They could restructure Ferguson, moving most of his $7.25 million base. They would inherit Crosby's $30 million base, but could shift most of that to bonus and add a couple of void years, so even with what they have left right now they could afford him. I mean, if they converted $25 million to bonus and prorated that over five years, he'd cost $10 million this year. They would need to do the same next year, though.
Unfortunately Overshown has not been reliable.Unless Dallas has a major injury in the linebacker group, I don't see Wagner in Dallas at this point.
I know front office said they're still looking at adding players but I feel like Crosby to Dallas isn't going to happen especially with Miller is now on the team. I could be wrong though.
Alway enough American Pie to make another baby out of wedlock for old Jerrah. There is only so much pie...![]()
This is why Brooks would be my priority.I would love to sign Wagner
I am not sold on our LB crew
LolFrom the “Book of Stephen”, chapter 1, verse 1.
I agree. I would love to have Wags on this team and was saying this all summer before the draft. I just feel like at this point, the front office is going to roll with Overshown & Barham as long as they're healthy and see what we have in those two going forward this year.Unfortunately Overshown has not been reliable.
We need Wagner now why we have some negotiation leverage.
I like your way of thinking! This is why Brooks would be my priority.
Exactly. All these years later and people still don't realize cap space is a myth. Jerry and Stephen cry "broke" because of a couple big deals and people believe them.Cap space is simple to manipulate. The Eagles and Rams do it all the time.
Wagner was an incredible MLB, no doubt. If his roll is to just be a teacher, then yes, he'll be a great option. But, if there's fear of the durability of one or more of the current, young LB's, then Brooks is the way to go. He's a hellava LB, still in his prime and is very bright, capable of being the architect of the defense. This is why Brooks would be my priority.
Satellite radio, lolLOL Bob!

In my house either, banana creamNot in the Philippines.....
It's a very tradeable contract, and they're in a major rebuilding mode that will take a few years. Why is Jordyn Brooks even being brought up?
The Dolphins just signed him to an extension last month, that guarantees 100% of his salary through 2027. They plan to keep him.
