But as great as he is,he'd be an underutilized asset for us.

the ravens are a running team and they did'nt want to pay him 3 mil this year. rather use that money to keep our own guys

There's no guarantee that Escobar or Hanna are going to be good enough to get a lot of downs for us this year.

I'm all for trying to get our best players on the field. And I'm all for throwing in different personnel packages.

I think fullbacks are good if they are a dynamic blocker. Unless Leach's blocking has tailed off, then I would want him over Vickers.

Cost would be the only reason you wouldn't upgrade your FB position at this point. If we can make it work, I'd bring him in. Though, I'd be equally happy not to carry a FB this season if that's the way it works out, too.

We had a great FB last year. He *looked* like complete garbage because our line play was horrid. When your blocking up front sucks, your FB makes no difference whatsoever.
