Psh... the Cowboys had a better winning % than the Steelizz did in the 70's... I don't buy that they were the best dynasty ever for a second...

The worst part is, the Cowboys in their prime would crush any of these other teams in their prime.

I don't know if the cowboys are the greatest Dynasty of all time, but they're certainly a great dynasty then the Pats. The pats are squeeking by teams in a time where there are no great teams like there was in the past. The cowboys blew out other greats teams during their dynasty years.

Even if the Pats win this year they aren't the greastest ever. They are a very good team in a time where there aren't powerhouses anymore. The pats of "now" wouldn't of stood a chance in the early/mid 90s with the Cowboys, Niners, Bills, and Broncos of that era.

Well... the Bills were great.... until they got to the superbowl. ;)

I agree they would, but man oh man would I love to have a ticket to watch the 92 Cowboys vs the 89 49ers. Talk about a monster game! Would be odd though to see Haley playing for both teams.

Sure -- but you can't compare so freely across eras. We were tops at the height of the no salary cap, no effective steriod testing NFL (they were testing but the anabolic steroid market was booming and drug testing hadn't caught up yet). Teams could spend as much as they wanted and players all had an extra little edge. No doubt the best team from that era could kick other teams' butts.

I wish they had a "Best NFL Franchise Ever" contest. We would win hands down. Since our inception, we have won more regular season games in two different decades, (70s & 90s), had a 20 season winning streak, have won as many SBs as any team, (5), and have been to more, (8), than any team in history.

Plus, we have the prettiest outfits in the NFL. So, there..... .

I consider us the Greatest Dynasty not for the 90's or the 70's but our entire existance. We went to more playoffs in a row than anyother team in History, More super Bowl apperances, and Tied with Superbowl wins than anyone. Not only that IMO a dynasty is also based on Fanbase and the Dallas Fanbase has never really fallen off unlike the Steelers who where strong in the 70's and pretty much dissapered in the mid 80's and 90's or the Pats who didn't have a fanbase really until BP took the team over and started their winning ways. The only Two teams who have always similar Fan Loyalty IMO are the Packers and Bears.

We have the Greatest Dynasty ever and no one can take that away.

.........the timeing of the salary cap and free agency couldnt have been worse, along with the fued between JJ and JJ boys.........it couldve been a long long honeymoon if the cards wouldve fell right

IF NE wins this year, my hats go off to them. 4 in 5 years is amazing. Best Dynasty ever. But they wont. Last night, NE wasn't taht good, Oakland was that bad

That wouldn't be because the NFC sucked in the 70's would it?

They looked real good to me. They put up 30 points, and with their nice defense, that should be enough points for them to win 90% of their games.

They are well on their way to defending their title imo.
