marcus troufant has 7 int...so it is tough to argue with that and woodson is the household name.

thats great that he has 7...he got 3 thrown right to him Sunday

maybe McFlabb, Kolb or Feeley will play as crappy as Kurt Warner did the other day and throw a few right to Newman

anyway, he will still be celebrating the Super Bowl win so he won't have time :) :D:.

Oh don't you worry, Romo will be there. Celebrating a superbowl victory won't keep Romo away.

I hope that happens, and the way mcnabb is playing it wouldnt shock me one bit.

At the same time trufant is a good player, and I have no idea where he is in the voting I am just saying I dont know that newman is the best corner in the nfc this year. Not with the injuries etc... Sometimes it is ok to admit other teams have good players too, and trufant happens to be one of them.

honestly I hate the game and wish none of our guys would go...it isnt worth the injury risk

David

Has anyone in the history of the pro-bowl suffered serious injury in the game?

BTW, it's been a long, long time to see this again. Hope to see all those guys and more with the coaches and players voting. Hope Ellis makes it.

I would love to see that as well. Ellis is tied for 3rd in the NFL with 11.5 sacks. Pretty amazing considering all the doubt surrounding him before the start of the season as well as missing the 1st few game

It would a travesty if Ellis didn't make it to Honolulu come February  ! He's having a career year (sack-wise) and is a key component on a top-10 defense with a 12-1 record. If Newman and Greg don't make the Pro Bowl after the type of season Dallas is having now, they may NEVER be invited! :thumbdo:

If I am correct the fan voting only counts as 1/3 of the total vote. The players and coaches count the rest. Some of the players fans voted on may not make it.

Kitna has already established that he is better than Newman....

The coaches and the players make up 2/3 of the vote. so don't etch it in stone yet.

Trufant is good, but Newman has been better. With his foot and knee problems, and the missing games, I do not see newman making it. Shame but there it is.
