The Good: 3 in a row, 10 days 'til the NYFG.
*5 passing TD's.
*Romo likes this game; he's not some automaton simply going through the motions.
*I say the robot turkey kicks the robot football players butt in nine rounds of bare-knuckle boxing.
*RW gets another int (5). I may have to reinterpret that ancient Hebrew text. It may say "hits like stone". He knocked Allstott OUT!
*Glenn is back in the mix; he's huge. Does it get any better than the 45 yard rollout Romo tossed him in the 3rd?
*Keep practicing that tip drill. Great int by Ayodele.
*TO's Salvation Army contribution. I thought it was great.
*The turkey beachball in the stands.
*Pregame with Jones and JJohnson saying there should have, could have, been more championships then shaking hands. I'd been skeptical about a JJohnson return, but something yesterday made me think it could happen somewhere down the road.
*Aikman, Salisbury, nearly everyone on postgame thinks Dallas is best in the NFC mostly due to the presence of offensive playmakers, something Chicago doesn't have as many of.
*Romo, in the second half of the last three games (all wins): 28 for 30, 383 yards and 3 TD's. That's 2 incompletions in the second halves of the past 3 games. Incredible.
*Amazing how Romo made the O-line so much better.

The Bad
*Giving up a TD on TB's opening drive.
*Two 10 play drives by TB.
*Is JJones hurt?
*No game for 10 days. Hope this doesn't cause Dallas to lose their groove.

The Ugly
*Why is Newman returning punts? I know he's good but is it worth it in the long run?

The Bottom Line
Romo likes this game and his passion is infectious. The whole team looks better and everybody is having more fun. When was the last time you heard a media story about TO? Bet it was at least a month ago. It's all Romo-time in Big-D. Parcells is fiery again. Now that the Cowboys are playing up to their potential he's becoming more animated. That's the Parcells we were told was coming. Glad to see he finally showed up.

I'm always skeptical, expecting the worst. That said, I could see this team causing trouble for people in the playoffs. If they're clicking on all cylinders, they could be tough to beat.

p.s. My turkey sandwich says "Hi."

Good stuff

Yes, everytime Newman is back deep I cross my fingers.

He's so valuable to risk hits like against Indy, but he does bring a playmaking ability to special teams. Interesting trade off

I'd add that field goal to the ugly list.

Also, wasn't it Brady James that knocked Allstott out?

Yes, James knocked Alstott out.

I think Roy was the one that banged Bruce's head off the turf, and Roy hit Pittman on the KO going out of bounds.

Let's not forget 1 more good and that is 2 penalties for 19 yards!

This is huge. We can only beat ourselves at the moment and the moment we start removing the chances of that happening by cutting down on penalties and turnovers, is the moment we get real real scary to all the rest of the teams.

I think there were 2 more that could go into the bad/ugly column.

That holding call they missed on TB's first drive. I mean i think everyone watching the game saw that.

The long pass to Galloway on their first drive. Nice coverage there Keith Davis.

I thought it was Roy Williams taking Alstott's knees out.

Bradie James came in for the cleanup and his hit didn't look as ferocious as Roy's missile-like low tackle.

I could be wrong though. Haven't watched it on Tivo yet.

Concern I have is the run D. We gave up 4.2 yds to TB knowing that they HAVE to run the ball.
What if we play KC? A team that is excellent at running the ball but also have a QB who is savy enough to pass.

We need to improve our run D with our front 7 only. We still need the extra DB back to prevent long bombs.

yeah, Roy hit him low and Bradie hit him high. I think the hit should go to both of them--it wouldn't have looked nearly as kick*** if only one of them hit Alstott
