For just audio? It's smaller, so I would say yes. Now, not sure why you would need it for a car unless it was an auxiliary input for your mp3 player.

This image is from the Cassini space craft orbiting Saturn. In it, you see Saturn's rings slicing through the middle of the picture. The small light colored moon is Enceladus. The large dark imposing moon behind it is Titan.

yep I just put my iphone through the auxiliary and play pandora i heart radio or my downloaded music

I have both an auxiliary and usb that came stock in my car. I can plug in my mp3 player into, either. I prefer the usb because it allows me to control things through the stereo controls instead of the mp3 controls.

One of our vehicles has a USB jack. We just fill up a USB stick with music and it allows us to control everything with the car stereo and see what's playing on the radio display. I prefer that to using exterior controls and only having the display on the MP3 player showing what's playing.
