Wade as Dallas Cowboys Head Coach !!!

I honestly would like to see a Coaching change. I have been thinking about Shanahan and really wouldn't mind him being Head Coach and keeping Wade as Defensive Coordinator. This way Shany can oversee the Offense, which is his bread & butter and Wade can solely focus on the Defense which he has done a descent job. Some will Wade wouldn't take this position but I am one that thinks he would, because where else is he going other than back to SD as DC which is nothing more than a lateral move with most likely less pay. Also with Shany coming on board, the Jason Garrett days would be over, which suits me just fine.

I really think unless Jerry changes his ways (i.e. lets go of control like he did with Parcells or Jimmy) it won't matter who the coach is because they know who is really in charge.

Even when Wade wants to get tougher, i.e. levy heavy fines, he's told by Jerry he can't.

I know, I came to this thread, but the title was misleading....

When I saw the title, I was expecting reasons why country singer, Wade Hayes should be the Cowboys head coach. Or maybe Wade Bowen. This was disappointing through and through. Although it wouldn't kill me to see Mike Shanahan coach Dallas, I've always been a fan of his. He'd get the offense to play up to their potential and he knows how to win Super Bowls. I'm not saying we should get rid of Wade Phillips, but if we had to, Shanahan's a good pick up.

Shanny and Holmgren keep being mentioned but Shanny is suspect because he had the most phenomenal one man show in history in Elway( you know, the guy who mad a mockery over the vaunted 6 man prevent defenses with 2 minutes to go in the game)
Holmgren reminds me of Wade being so low keyed and all but he would be good for Romo in nothing else

Yes, let's move Wade over to DC, but I'd rather bring in Shanahan to be OC. That way, we can hire Cowher as head coach and Dungy to coach the secondary (or the other way around). While we're at it, let's get Holmgren or Mariucci to be the QB coach - Romo's just like Favre, they should jump at the chance!

What respect does Wade already hold to have to maintain with these players other than Brooking?

Garrett's is also non existent at this point. These 2 are going to lose this locker room if they lose to KC or just squeek out a win in KC and get beat up the next game. Mark my words.
