Dallas had an opportunity late in the game to add insult to injury by putting more points up yet Wade took the conservative approach even when we were in clear cut FG range Wade had McBrair punt the ball instead of adding the 3. Now honestly myself and people I was watching the game with had no problem of wanting to see Dallas rub Philly nose in it but Wade took the high road.

So how do you guys feel about it

Wade is much classier than I would have been.

And I am glad he is representing the Star.

Tom Landry would have been proud.

I don't think that is why he didn't kick the FG. Think about it, it would have taken a miracle for them to win. We could try to add a meaningless three points and have it blocked and run back, or we could make it and have the kickoff run back, it would not have been a smart thing to do.

That's the difference between Dallas and the Eagles. Dallas has class. Reid & Co. would have run up the score. That's why it's fun to watch their classless team and even more classless fan base twist in the wind this morning.

I think it's more embarrassing and humiliating to see the other team obviously taking it easy on you than it would be to see them scoring meaningless (scoreboard) points.

I agree. My own hate of Philly would have had no issue putting more points up on them and had the shoe been on the other foot I think Philly would have. I give Wade props for being a man of class and as you said Tom would have been proud of that.

I wanted 41pts!! Philly would've scored on us if they had the chance. I understand the class thing but I would've hammered them even more.. That's just me tho!!!!:D

He did the right thing - we do't want to stoop to their level.

That is the truth.

Fat Andy has taken every chance he could to run the score up on Dallas in the past.

His players act like classless, idiotic, little kids on the sidelines during wins against Dallas.

His team only has the talent to compete against the bottom half of the league anymore and I couldn't be happier.

They only beat one team with a winning record this season. Their "explosive" players ran up big stats against bad teams. I don't think they understand where they are at right now.

Wade coaches how football should be played, smart, tough, and aggressive.
I have no problem with the call and I actually applaud it.

People mistake Wade for being a softie but I don't see how a softie could command some of the toughest defenses that ever played in the NFL.

The Tuna's D would have long wilted, Wade's guys and D gets stronger as the stakes go up. However, in today's world, perception is reality.

That would have been a perfect time for McBriar to hit the video board! The punt went into the endzone anyway. We missed our chance!

I also think that Wade was wanting Suisham to go into Minnesota with confidence....Suisham misses a field goal there and then we could have a shaky kicker next week.
I'm not saying Suisham is a sure thing next week, but at least we have him going to Minnesota with a clean game under his belt.

Wade probably didn't want to do anything that would shake Suisham's confident. He made a chip shot and a 48 yarder. He was true on both and he feels good about himself. Why risk having him miss a meaningless FG then have to deal with that thought in his head all week?

I basically said the same thing. Great minds think alike.

I actually thought Wade and Garret did an excellent job of attacking throughout most of the game...even well after the outcome was essentially decided.

We relaxed a bit on defense on the Eagles last series, but overall, I thought we attacked more than we have in the past in that situation.
