If this team goes 9-7 or worse, Jerry will can Wade in a NY minute and promptly go out and hire Bill Cowher. And honestly, I think that is the plan to begin with. Of course if wade does great and gets us to at least the Championship, then Wade stays and we go from there.

I dont like Cowher either. The guy generally had a roughly 10 win team, but that was about it.

His SB was the biggest rob job I've seen in a long time.

Well, for one, Parcells knew how to bully the media, so they all but chickened out in response. The guy knew how to handle the BIG NY media-as big as our media is, it's nothing compared to that.

And 2-No excuses, no excuses, and NO excuses. Wade isn't Barry, Chan, Campo, nor Norv. His track record may not have shown *greatness*, but he's been a successful one nonetheless. If we start 0-2(and if his new attacking schemes aren't working, sans Newman or no), the guy is going to have to take the blame too.

Whoever gets Cowher is gonna be sorry. This is the same guy who choked away 3/4 HOME AFC Title games, and it was *this* close to being 4 if that Colt player bothered to catch that pass at the end. And they didn't look GREAT in that SB either-the game planning and game management was terrible, but you're right, that game HAD to have been fixed. Wouldn't surprise me if one day, those refs are gonna get caught like that NBA ref.

And not to mention too that Pitt had a FO that had the final say on player personnel. Cowher is going to want COMPLETE control in his next gig-fuget about it...

I loved old Bum, and i really like his boy, but that aside, Wade has done NOTHING as a HC to "BUY" him much of anything. Although i think Jerry will give him 2 seasons no matter what, unless he totally loses the team and we go 6-10 like our good buddy the Bears blogger predicts

BUT... atleast Dilfer didnt lose the SB. Cowher didnt win the SB it was giftwrapped by the zebra's. So technically Dilfer did more by doing less.
