Wade had some nice things to say about Hatcher today

Said that he was really a good-looking player who was developing nicely. When someone asked if he was still pretty raw, Wade said not as much as he was, because the light had come on. He said usually you think of a raw player as someone who just runs around and doesn't really know what he's doing that much, but that Hatcher had really improved his technique over the summer and now seemed to know what he was doing.

I know this might not sound like anything new, as we all like Hatcher's potential. But it sounds like he's had something of a breakthrough. If he puts a real knowledge of how to play the position along with his natural athletic ability... Look out.

hey chocolate...........i think hatcher is going to be a great player for us..

he never played for Coach Robinson

I know he stepped down 10 years ago, but i was referring to coach Robinson's passing this spring and the whole Grambling family and what Eddie will always mean to the program. My bad if my meaning got lost with my poor pontification.

I want to kick Stewarts butt for putting him in the position of injuring his hamstring and delaying his impact.

Might not be much to kick...seems like Jerry already bit most of it off.:laugh2:

On a serious note Wade's words seem to be more than fluff as all through the camp reports it was being said that Hatcher was looking great.

Let's hope for a speedy recovery.

Agree. There were often reports how well Hatcher was playing. In fact it was frequently mentioned on variety of Cowboy talk shows that Hatcher could beat out Spears for starting job if Spears didn't pick his play up. Hatcher was interviewed and said he hoped to be back on the field next week. So at least he will get a chance to play in 1-2 preseason games.

That is the way I took the at news also. I just wondered if he was wearing the GM hat or owner hat at the time.

I still think a D-line of Hatcher at LDE, Spears at NT, and Canty at RDE would be fun to watch and root for. Put Spencer at SOLB, Burnett & Carpenter at ILB, and Ware at WOLB and I'd have so much fun watching our front 7.

I like this lineup also, Hos..........lot of speed in that mode! My 1st post in a while because I have been recuperating from colon surgery in June.......took out about half of it. Had a lot of internal bleeding over the last 3 years so they decided it was time to stifle the bleeding.

Feels good to be back..........can hardly wait until the season starts!

HOW ABOUT THEM COWBOYS..............:D

Hey I hope you get to feeling better. That sounds awful. I always enjoy your posts. I believe you are the Senior member of this forum and as such the Patriarch. Get well.

When you do, someone make sure it gets on youtube. It should be entertaining.
