This team was not ready to play. The penalties came back. The screw ups and mistakes came back.
We need a tougher guy. NOT as tough as Tuna, but someone tougher then Wade.

Here we go. Wade Phillips is the worst coach walking, right? Wade is 0-4 in the postseason, but his players let him down today. Are boneheaded penalties and missed tackles the head coach's fault? I know he is somewhat to blame, but the Cowboys did some outright stupid stuff out there. The O line lost its composure. Patrick Crayton stopped on a route that could've resulted in the winning score. And the defense waited too long to show up. I don't think you can blame Wade Phillips for any of that.

If I was Jerry, I would put together a counsel of expert successful pro coaches to review everything and then make changes. Start with Jimmy Johnson and add a few more...then review...then cut.

Why would Jerry do that? He's a football man now. He is the decision maker and doesn't need input from any "experts."

Hell, he gave us 3 superbowls for which we should be eternally grateful and never question another one of his bone-headed decisions. It doesn't matter that he hasn't put together a team that won a Poff game in 12 years now.

Exactly. One thing I hated going into this game was how much blame he got before the game even started, but I think you saw the effects of a man who felt no need to light a flame in a team going on a downward spiral and just saying "We're 13-3, No #1 seed" b.s. that he was preaching in December. The immature Boys needed to be put in check and he didnt do it. The Giants played with more heart and more discipline than we did. Im not saying he should be fired and he has a good history, but I've seen at times this season where I've wondered why he's even in this position

I have to agree with this.

I always thought Wade Phillips was an Interim Coach when he was hired.

I felt Jerry Jones brought him in to fix the defense and then Jason Garrett or someone else would take over.

I doubt he gets the boot, even Dave Campo was given three seasons.

I personally thought this team lost focus and started to believe its own press clippings.

I was totally put off by Wade Phillips constantly pointing to a 13-3 Season when asked why players were taking trips out of the country just before a Playoff Game, going to the BCS game and playing very poorly in the last 2-4 Games.

We were a great team there for quite a while. Now we got to find a way to sustain it for a longer period or not peak too early.

I think you can blame Wade Phillips for all that, this is what happens when you have "aw shucks" nice guy player's coaches.
