Practiced inside today due to rain, and have to wait till tomorrow to see how the weather holds up, so day to day on that decision

Felix Jones will be returning kickoffs some, a question was posed to him about felix being somewhat injury prone and wade said we have other guys that are working on kickoff returns too Ogletree for one

Talked about the seahawks getting rid of the ball quickly in west coast offense; so hard to get to the QB,

they are getting 2 talented football players back in trufant and hill,

ware injury was mentioned to wade, wade said he wasnt injured, as far as injuries go, he might have some pain

a question was posed to wade about ware saying that he liked to get some time off during practice to rest up his foot fracture (remember ware said this was a 3 week injury and i think its past the injury delaying ware) and wade said that ware practices alot like the other players that the coaches feel need to practice.

had a very physical high tempo practice wade felt good about practice;

Just to add my own notes...

-- Said even though Cowboys Stadium is their home field, they really hadn't practiced there or even played there much yet. I got the idea that he would've liked to have practiced there more thus far to get more familiar with it.

-- I like what he said when asked about Felix returning kickoffs: "You can't coach scared." Said Felix is healthy now.

-- Seahawks' D has already had two shutouts this year, and even one is tough per year in the NFL. Much praise for Kerney, who he coached in Atlanta. Said he has a "Jay Ratliff-like motor".

-- In full pads today and hitting hard.

-- Hope to practice outdoors at Valley Ranch tomorrow if the weather isn't too bad and the fields too sloppy from the rain.

Nice quote about Kearney's work ethic, he really is an all day sucker. Even though Kearney sucked as an OLB under Wade. Kearney is so much better attacking downhill, as a true 4-3 DE.

Ok, Allen Rossum didn't practice, again, and Felix Jones will take over kick return duties. Coach Wade Phillips said he's not concerned with Jones' health, considering he just came back from a sprained ligament. If case you missed it, Rossum is out two to four weeks with a hamstring injury.

Phillips said the team had a good physical practice at Cowboys Stadium.

The team could practice at Cowboys Stadium again on Friday. It depends on how wet the fields are at Valley Ranch and if another indoor facility, close to the practice site, is available.

Phillips said he's impressed with Seattle defensive end Patrick Kerney, who is tied for seventh in the NFC with four sacks and is third among active players in the NFL with 81 1/5 sacks.

The reason is Phillips coached Kerney in Atlanta in 2002 and 2003 where compiled 17 sacks in those two seasons. "He's an outstanding player," Phillips said. "They've had a good rush for a while, they played great run defense last year, they've had two shutouts on defense this year. Now, having one in a season is unusual, its hard to do, but they've already had two shutouts."
