Wade on T.O.

This comes from when he was asked about possibly coaching Terrell Owens following his initial interview in Dallas.

Said Wade: "If he’s on the team and I'm the head coach, he’s family. He’s like a member of my family."

I loved Parcells for what he did here, but if he would of said something anywhere remotely close to this to TO while he was here there would of been a whole different energy. TO would of eaten that up and ran through walls for him.

If you're a great coach, you can handle it. If you're a wimp, you'll run out screaming... It's simple, get TO the ball (whether he drops it or not) get him the da*n ball.

I have successful and wealthy people in my family. They sure aren't as arrogant and stupid though.;)

I agree. I don't like how Parcells handled TO while he was here. Shying away from every question asked about him, and seeming afraid to mention anything about him. I dunno the whole story, but I just didnt like it. Made me uncomfortable, haha.

I like Wade's family type of talk there. I think this could work.

Not much to understand. Parcells simply didn't let owens make himself bigger than the Cowboys. Parcells handled owens perfectly.

Wade is known as a player's coach. He is also pretty loyal refusing to fire his special teams coach after the loss to the Titans in the play-offs...

TO is going to like Wade...

I agree. Even though T.O. could've done things differently, Parcells could have also tried a bit harder when it came to his relationship with Owens. He wouldn't even call Terrell by his name. He didn't seem to care when the whole suicide scare thing came up as well - T.O. took that to heart and I don't blame him.

Parcells could've been the bigger man and TRIED to embrace Owens a little better than what he did. They both acted like two-year-olds.

Actually i dont necessarily think thats a bad thing when dealing with TO. Now its going to make TO a bit uneasy but at the same time you cant get mad at someone who is stoic about you in every way shape and form.

Prevents highs and lows.
