wade; Earned the right to be in the playoffs, happy to be where we are, we not worried about who doesnt win on other teams etc. Excited because we think its going to have a great crowd at our stadium with our fans; we know how the saints fans were loud etc, but were expecting our fans to really turn out, maybe be bette. Its home now for us and practice there tomorrow.. Ok, Fans you were challenged, get the Word out!
wade; columbo and watkins didnt practice and wont play
wade on roy w..; i didnt hear him say that, you can ask jason or tony, i dont know what you have to ask him;
wade; well,thats the problem they are one of the highest scoring teams in the league, what 2nd on offense, and their qb is a great player and has been one, and they can run the ball. He ran 25 or so for first down to help win the game
wade; i just think our group on defense is real solid, they dont make many mental mistakes, its not a simple game and its complicated, with shifts, motions,
you can see guys wide open no one covering them but you dont see that from our guys
wade; thats my phiosphy, play younger guys or guys coming into the team so a new player coming in, does not make mistakes with having ur best players on the team
wade; yeah igor is very big,, has done a very good job for us, and is dominant at times, and your not going to knock him off the ball, leaving brooking behind him to make plays, and he does push the pocket back, but doesnt get to play on pass rushes too much on 3rd down. Our run defense is least i think ran against
wade; i think longer your the qb that helps and when your successful and keep learing, i think tony made it a pooint to be more involved, and natural position as far as leadership. Furthered his career by being and taking on leadership, with more you play its easier and winniing and playing well.
wade; its getting people to do what you want them to do, some people thinks its only hollering and screaming at them but their is better ways ; i dont think he is type to jump on people all the time, but he shows them you need to do this or that, and they listen. With others realizing your not a prima dona and making your own mistakes and not just being gripers
wade, this team this year, we have some big egos,,, but its confined within the team, and you want that with everything. I dont want to go back to last year, thats over, hope its over
wade; well uh, i think when you take ownership, you get attention from everybody, it wasnt him lossing the game, but when they see the qb take the blame, then they admit i made mistakes too;
wade; yeah, sure, being steady and in a positive attitude influences the team, especially the offensive side of the ball and not go up and down so much
wade; well, any division game, u could play them one time high scoring and next time low scoring, with knowing the personnell, sometimes its benefecial to offense or defense but its like a chess match
wade, we know the playoff scenarios who we may play; so with playing eagles twice and we played green bay once and other team we will start doing some things on them
wade,i just thought doug free has played well because anytime you lose a player the caliber of columbo it stands out;
wade; were in process of studied it and know what our plan is now, and alittle disappointing because we have been so good at it,
wade; uh, well, actually i uh, we doubled jackson some, we gave him some help, the guys know he is a big play guy, and he s still a handfull
wade; matchup their not matched up all the time because jackson plays on both sides and sometimes they put him in the slot, they have alot of good players but part of it, we need a good pass rush to get to the qb,
wade; uh, yeah brian westbrook is a guy you have to worry about all the time too and well aware of him too where he will be too
wade, he carried it 9 times last game, he is a threat out of the backfield and you have to be aware where he is;
wade; yeah, joe d is hurting today and i worried about him that way, we got him off the field as soon as we could he had apacdectmy but had hernia operation too, so he is going through some pain
wade; yeah he was out most of the game, their protection schemes wont change alot and they did have to shift their line some last time, and their center hasnt played against jay ratliff yet and we have to see what he has and what he can do, but the guy is a center; has played it, did a good job last week, Jay can give anybody trouble; i thought the center had 2 key fumbles?
