You can call Jones compulsive, risk taking but not oblivious. If he is playing things with Wade this way there are underlying reasons for it, that the fan base and media aren't privvy to, and it absolutely has no association with puppeteering.

If Jones gets pissed off the doesn't always show it and if you bitterly disappoint him he can get Machiavellian on you. You can diminish him as much as you want to but he didn't become successful being delusional.

Some fans are incredibly naive obssessing about Jones putting himself in this position for self-aggrandizement. The team's horrific season can cost this organization millions of dollars in value added revenue and franchise prestige.

the only way for wade to change is for JG to exit and have wade handpick his succesor. then he needs to go over the roster and have some heads roll. that's the only way players will fear him, when he starts cleaning up the mess. otherwise it's status quo and it'll be the same divided team.
