Wade should be our defensive coordinator and not the head coach. We need a strong head coach who give the players and refs and earful when they are screwing up. Coach Phillips is just not that guy.
 
I don't think that a fire and brimstone coach is the answer.Parcells was a guy that sought confrontation and we know how that panned out.I also came to the conclusion that Wade isn't the answer after the game in KC.I think the modern coach,if such a thing exists,should be able to play both the good and bad cop.The modern coach should be able to relate to the player and be a master manipulator at the same time.I think Wade is a good person and I believe he's alot smarter than some would like to admit.However I believe Wade's biggest fault is attention to detail,he just doesn't have the team focused enough for whatever reason.

i think its needed, a coach like rex ryan, or a coach like jimmy johnson, but most of the problem is jerry jones. The head coach has to have total control and he doesnt with jerry jones.

what might help if jerry jones would swallow his pride and hire either jon gruden or dan reeves as an offensive consultant.

To motivate the offense to play with intensity like the defense plays with the intensity they play with in the game.
 
Spit, yelling, cursing, and getting in your face = CHAMPIONSHIP.

I don't know about you, but I saw Wade pretty fired up today, especially with the refs.

I also don't remember Tony Dungy ever giving anyone an earful, and he's got a Super Bowl ring.

I think Jerry is going to be Jerry.I do think that Jerry will support whatever a coach wants to do,provided he can sell Jerry on whatever that may be.

The problem with the hot headed coach is that they burn out a team all so quickly it seems.I'd rather have the guy who can play both parts,a guy that can be the hard *** one day and then your best friend the next.A guy that can take the job and keep it for more than three years.

I don't think Reeves would be that much of an influence,I think the game has passed him by.Gruden is a west coast guy that I don't think would mesh well with what this team wants to do.The other thing about a consultant this year,the organization needs to see what they have here now.Find out if Garrett is a keeper or is just another guy.With a consultant you would skew that evaluation.Although I could well be wrong on all counts,a person just doesn't no what's going on behind closed doors.

I don't see a defense that is playing with alot of intensity.They show a flash every so often but have yet to really come out blowing people up all game long.The same can be said of the offense,it's feast or famine and week to week.But then again this is the NFL and the same could be said of any team out there.

Given what wade has control of with this team, and what he has to put up with, I think he's doing a great job.

He just doesn't project the air of a natural born leader, nothing he can do about that.

The offense has been on self destruct mode the last 2 consecutive games while the D has kept the Cowboys in both games, but Wade is the problem? The kicker has missed 2 straight field goals too, should Joe DeCamillis be on the chopping block too?
 
Wade needs to show his *** more.. Mike Singletary style.

Because the last guy we had that scowled all the time and yelled at the players and screamed at the refs was such a big success for us. :rolleyes:
