Was the context of Wade's statement a speculation about when Tank comes in?

As for Spears or Canty--they seem like the same player to me. Sizewise they are different but both play the same. Strong against the run, nothing in pressuring the passer.

Hatcher had a sprained ankle so I think Ratliff was playing behind Spears in camp with Bowen behind Canty.(Canty had a great camp so I doubt it was him anyway. What happened to him(canty) penetrating? I was expecting more from him on the pass rush)

They asked him about Ratliff exceeding his expectations, and he said that Jay had great hustle, motor, etc. Said he pushed to start at end and then Fergy got hurt, so he got his chance to start at NT.

Makes you wonder *how* close he might have been to unseating one of the ends.
