It was the personnel. Wade is killing it with the Texans. Getting pressure with the front four. Corners are playing physical man coverage. Everything we wanted here but couldn't do b/c of the crappy players Jerry gave him.

Who said what now? Wade would never have stuck around to be a defensive coordinator in Dallas? I am not even sure if NFL rules would have allowed such a demotion, but that isn't the issue. On principle guys don't take getting fired as head coach and then stick around with the team that let them go.

This was the best the defense has played since Parcells was here . Wade is a great DC that benefited from a good team passed on. It slowly deteriorated as time went on down the road to what remind us 1-7?

He didn't have to be fired. He could have been demoted.
